Judith - As always, love the quilt blocks. Do you keep track of how many quilts you've made?

Posted - Oct 22 2024 : 11:45:46 AM It's difficult for me to walk into a room of strangers but the wreath class was fun. I am probably the last woman in the civilized world to learn how to use a glue gun.
Linda -- if you have the 2 ½ strips it will go fast. Easy peasy and gets rid of scraps. Somehow my scrap bin is still full; pixies must be coming in the night and bringing more.

Posted - Oct 22 2024 : 06:23:58 AM Judith, I love your potato chip blocks. I need to do 1 of those quilts. I have enough 2-1/2" strips it would be very easy to cut pieces and help Reduce my scraps. Scrappy quilts are my favorites.
Also, It is great to step out of your comfort zone once in a while. I love your wreath It looks so fresh.

Posted - Oct 21 2024 : 4:17:54 PM Judith I find that term “potato chips “ very interesting. Your blocks are very nice. I have so many random pieces of fabric from swaps that I think I will spend one day cutting some rectangles. I would love the scrappiness of it all. Thank you for the inspiration.

Posted - Oct 20 2024 : 03:13:07 AM Judith, interesting name for a quilt block, haha. Have fun creating and using up scraps. I have been finishing up a block of the month quilt that someone had started and given up on. It is applique, and I finished up top stitching around those. Not something I would start for myself. Next up will be making a border and putting the whole thing together. Then once the outside work is all done, will get working on the double wedding ring quilt again.

Posted - Oct 19 2024 : 12:23:45 PM Today I am going through my scrap bin and cutting "potato chips" for a quilt guild project. Potato chips are 2 ½ by 4 ½ inch scraps of fabric that are put together to make a quilt block. Pictures to follow. Sometime.....
