Kim that is my youngest daughter's birthday!! I know I won't forget that date! It really is pretty. I took it to show the shopkeepers and they want me to make some dresses for the shop....NOW! LOL...they said "stop putting them online! LOL" The muslin could be dyed into a beautiful red or rust color...that would be gorgeous!! Or a wonderful moss green. I'm so glad you are happy with this garden wedding design!!

Yes, it is a pattern test run. Made very generic in size so that it can be pinned and I can get the exact shape and drape from the fitting. I am planning on keeping the muslin in reserve for this particular pattern and do up a muslin for each general size in the pattern. I love, love, love this pattern and it is no longer available. :(

Karin, those poor piggies just spinning through space! Did you see the cow and the alien ship? funny!!

Thanks Kim for letting me post your dress in stages. This muslin is now where near where the finished dress will be. I just know it is going to be lovely in those white on whites with the sparkling trim and ties!! And the spin on this one is fabulous!!

Oh, and Rachel, I got your message....yes, I would be happy to!! I'll email you.

Even at this stage it is amazing! I can't wait to see it done! As for the test piece, I do mock-ups on $ a yard or thrifted fabric so I can finish and wear it...I hate to waste anything.

I assume the muslin is a mock up pattern for fitting. What do you do with the test pieces when done.
