Oh my goodness, Karin, I received the best parcel ever this afternoon!! I am in heaven!!
My daughters were here when I opened it and they loved everything too - they both tried on the apron and my youngest started emptying my handbag to put my stuff in my new purse.
Farmgirls, you will not believe what Karin sent me - I am so spoiled!! Not only did I get the most gorgeous apron (the colours are absolutely perfect), I also received a lovely green felted handbag, a knitted washcloth, a painted wooden box (did you paint that, Karin?), a beautiful cross-stitch kit, some soap and some Kool-aid so I can try out the dying for myself.
I feel so spoilt and lucky today - Karin, you are the best!!
Thanks so much,
Jayne

Jayne that is so funny, that is what Camden and I watch as well. I have to admit that I love it! No rush on the package, I'm just excited to see the patterns! Glad to hear from you!

Hi Megan,
Your parcel is sitting here, all ready to go except for one of my girl's letters! They are so slow! At the moment, they are watching the one TV show they are allowed to watch at night - Dancing With The Stars (do you get that there?) I thought that was probably the best choice they could make from night time TV. As soon as the letter is written, I will post it - I promise! I've printed off quite a few patterns for you, so hopefully they will come in handy.
Best wishes,
Jayne

Oh Jayne- That sucks! I know I would feel heart broken if that had happened after all that work. I'm so sorry. Glad to see you back on the board, I've been hoping all is well with you! Karin is also my dishcloth swap partner and should be getting her package soon. Hopefully that can tide her over until she gets yours, you do put together a great parcel! Ok, take care of yourself. Oh-my girls can't wait to get their letters from your girls! Later-Megan

Also, Georgeann and Nance, I will try to collect all the stuff together again and take a photo. I'll also have to see if I can convince hubby to post a funny photo for you, Georgann, of him wearing the lovely apron you sent me!! Dn't know if he will want it here for all FarmGirls to see though!
Best wishes,
Jayne

Karin,
Thanks so much - I was thinking the same thing, that someone probably thought the parcel was just stupid girly stuff!!
I will start making you a new apron and it should be there in 3-4 weeks.
Thanks for being so understanding - I love FarmGirls!!!
Best wishes,
Jayne

Oh Jayne- Bless your heart! No apology necessary! I am so sorry that all of your hard work has been lost! But, send that guilt a-packin' girlfriend! Things happen. I will leave it up to you as to what comes my way. Whatever you decide, I will know it's from your heart. And that's perfect for me. (I bet a man picked up your package. Can you imagine his face when he opened it and found all sorts of farm-chick stuff!! Serves him right!) You never know though- it may turn up some day!
As for tea- well, I do like a little herbal tea every now and then. Fruity things are good. I don't drink coffee, but I do love hot chocolate! :)

Here's a (((HUG))) to you and hopes that your "other things" are resolved and gone now!

Take care-
Karin

Karin,
Now a post to say sorry!! I haven't been on for two weeks in guilt (and other things which I won't go into here).
I had your parcel to post two weeks ago. I went to the supermarket and I think I must have left it on the bench there when I was sorting out my change. Anyway I have been waiting, hoping that the supermarket would find it, or some kind person would return it to me as it had my address on the back. But I think after two weeks, I will have to write it off as lost forever. I am so sorry - me and my forgetful brain at the moment! I've never lost anything before, so I suppose it had to happen some time, but why did it have to be a farmgirl parcel?! Couldn't it have been a bill payment or something equally boring?!
Now my question is, would you like to wait 3-4 weeks while I make another one and it travels to you? Or I can buy a nice one in town - I have seen some from that vintage-style kitchen fabric. I just hate that you have to wait so long when my parcel was so, so lovely. I feel so bad (Í so hoped that it would turn up).
Sorry again, Karin, just let me know what you would like - I will send you anything! Also, do you like tea (herbal or black), coffee or chocolate?
Best wishes,
Jayne

Oh YAY!!! I was hoping it would get there soon!! I'm so glad you like the apron! We have a little quilt shop called The Scarlett Thread and that fabric just jumped off the shelf at me when I was there. The purse is from a merino wool sweater, of course! And I'm so glad that the Kool-Aid made it through customs!! ;) I did not paint the box, but I thought it went really well with the apron- just a little treat!
I'm so happy it arrived safely!!
