I really enjoy this magazine. It used to be called something else. It comes out quarterly now. It is the same editor as Better Homes and Gardens' American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. This one, "Quilts and More" is much more geared to quick and easy projects and the beginner sewer. They had a wonderful assistant editor for the past three issues that really brought a modern edge to the magazine. I am sorry to see her go.

I have made many things from the past three issues including journal covers, fabric gift bags and purses. The current issue does have three wonderful retro half apron patterns designed by Cindy Taylor Oates. She uses Heather Bailey's Freshcut fabric line to construct two of them. They are so cute. I actually just picked up some fun fabric at our small local quilt store to make myself one of them.

I found my issue at Walmart. I have seen it at Joanns and our local grocery store. Look for it at those and other places. It really is worth the investment.

Here is one online source that I found for this magazine. I don't know anything about this quilt shop, it is in Indiana. I did notice that they have a phone and email listed upper right corner of their website so you could contact them to see if they have the Spring 2007 issue available for mailorder!
