Posted - Feb 13 2007 : 10:18:24 PM Hi all! In the spirit of RAOK and in honor of the snow storm that is scheduled to hit us tonight, I'm doing another hat drawing. Please sign up if you'd be interested in a knit (or crocheted) hat custom made for you or a loved one.
Materials are acrylic or acrylic blend (like Wool Ease) or whatever I have on hand, or I can make one from your own yarns. I can add earflaps if you are interested, or embellishments. Examples of my hats are at my blog - http://bluewrenn.livejournal.com.
The WINNER of this drawing was Megan (shmeg)! Congratulations! Please send me your email addy, postal mail addy and favorite colors to: lucyandmoose@hotmail.com.

Posted - Feb 14 2007 : 06:59:46 AM Please sign me up, too, Erin. It just keeps getting colder and windier here. And my son is reminding me(just like I did him, when he was little), that 'MOM, you lose a lot of body heat from your HEAD! Wear a hat!! LOL Well, at least I know he heard me back then! :)

Posted - Feb 14 2007 : 02:15:08 AM Thank you, Diane, for that endorsement! It's always nice to hear that, esp. since I've had so much trouble selling these warm winter hats here in Texas! (I wonder why?)

Posted - Feb 13 2007 : 10:34:24 PM I'm in N. TX and while we don't get snow very often, it does get cold. Not the 6 degrees stuff that the folks in NY are getting, but it gets down to about 20 degrees or so. It just doesn't last as long!
Kind of like how the weather was in VA when I lived there.
