Posted - Feb 04 2007 : 3:10:26 PM I just finished my baby kimono form the mason dixon , well almost. It says to sew the ribbon into the left underarm seam and then on the right flap. Should I do this by hand or use a machine. I'm jsut nor sure how to go about it. Anyone make this before or have the book and could help? Thanks! -Megan I'll post pictures when I'm all done |

Posted - Feb 14 2007 : 05:57:22 AM Thanks Annie. That is actually what I ended up doing. Well, actually I had my mom do the hand stitching. Anyway, it turned out pretty good and I'll be posting pictures soon. Your work is great, so talented!

Posted - Feb 13 2007 : 11:11:01 PM I'm probably a little late responding to this, but I sewed mine on by hand with matching thread. I folded the end of the ribbon over twice, first, so there wouldn't be a raw edge.

Posted - Feb 05 2007 : 05:05:09 AM Hi Megan, I don't have the book - I have looked at it on amazon and told myself "no, you may NOT buy another knitting book!" So not sure exactly what it is, but I'm sure someone here must have the book and can take a look and help you out. Love to see the picture. Best wishes, Jayne |
