Thank you for the patterns! They look great I used the jumper one for my youngest, it ended up looking more like a potato sack on her than a dress but it was a first try on patterns I will be 'practicing' more and will attempt that pattern again, I am waiting for some fabric I ordered from Fabric.com and then I'll start up again. I may let my older DD- 4 1/2, choose what she wants, or at least the fabric. Thanks again!!!

That would be great! I am a size 6-8 depending on what it is. I haven't done much but make quick and easy aprons, no pattern used, for the girls. I have been practicing just simple things and I have been planning on trying an easy looking pattern this weekend. I just have not had much time in the last month to get going on anything big. I have some pretty pink and white checked cotton that will be great for a sun dress for the girls to share, or more likely fight over until I get 2 made Thank you so much for thinking of me!! We are preparing to sell our house so my time will be short for a while and then as soon as it sells I will get plenty of time to sew and I am really looking foward to that. Thanks Again!!!

Liz, Some of the clothing patterns require a little adjustment to fit well - some tailoring. Sometimes it may just be the fabric also. Georgann's suggestion is a good one to try!

The other thing is to just keep practicing. I have some more patterns for you to try. I got them free inside the patterns cabinets I bought from the fabric store. I think that I have ones that will fit both girls.

Please resend me your addy, okay? Also, please send me YOUR sizes... Some of the patterns are for adult women's clothing and are the wrong sizes for me. I'd love to pass them on to someone who can use them.

What a great idea! It seems so simple yet it will fix the dress to look so much better. Thank you for that idea, I will definitely try that. I did learn a few things trying out the pattern, like how to use the button hole feature on my sewing machine-that is so cool.

Oh liz....LOL....I've done the potato sack thing too! LOL. It isn't necessarily your sewing. Here is a suggestion. Open up a small part of the side seam on each side of the waist and insert a grosgrain ribbon section that will be long enough to tie around to the back of the jumper! Oh, yes, don't forget to sew the seam closed again! LOL
