This is something I thought some of you may be interested in. There's a few things, the second called "Priority: Alzheimer's Quilts" a quilt no bigger than 9"x12" and it is auctioned or sold and all profits go to alzheimer awareness and research. If you click on the "Priority: Alzheimer's Quilts" link it gives all of the details. Looks like something where you could use up some of your scraps.

Liz - Thank you for the link. Both my husband's grandmother's suffered from this disease and it was devastating to all of us. I have several blocks that can go out this week and maybe some more next. I'm going to share this with my quilt group and see what we can send out as well. Thanks for sharing the info.

with a happy heart

Thanks so much for the link. That is something I would be interested in for sure. My ex MIL suffered from Alzheimers and it was so sad to see (also touching to see what great care my ex FIL took of her!) It is such a tragic thing to lose your memories and personality. A really worthy charity for sure!
