Hi, Sandy. Glad they arrived safely..

I am still trying to find room on the shelves for all the current magazines I subscribe to. I have decided to leave some money to my local library when I die so they can open up the Bright Meadow Farms knitting wing.... and they can have all the books and magazines. Seriously I think I have almost every book every published on machine knitting, but I'd love to find more. I stopped buying handknitting books a few years ago when it got popular again because I can't keep up with all the new books and magazines that are coming out. Way, way too many! And I don't handknit as much as I used to because it will take me the rest of my life to knit my stash using the knitting machines!

Enjoy the patterns! I think knitting is so relaxing - it really takes my mind off problems at work and gets me into a Zen-like state.... great for meditation. Far better to have dreams of Arans and Fairaisle designs than work nightmares...

Brenda, my package also arrived! Thank you for taking the time to choose some beginner patterns for me. I have the yarn already picked out for the first project!

So, what are you going to put in that empty shelf space now?

I'm heading south for the winter. Some parts of my body already have a head start!

I'm so glad you liked the knitting patterns. Please let me know if you knit up any of them. It's so nice to know that they are not just collecting dust on my shelf any more!

Consider posting a photo here so we can see your work!

hugs,

Brenda
