katmom	Posted - Feb 05 2017 : 7:32:56 PM I have made several 1/2 aprons buy quilting the fabric,,, ok, 2 to be exact... but... I have been wanting,,, but hesitating... to make a full quilt apron.. I am what I call 'seam binding challenged' and so I kept making excuses ... then it occurred to me,,, just line the darn thing,, which turned out to not be that easy either! all in all,, after some futzzing and seam ripping (and more seam ripping)...I got it figured out! this is the backside... I don't like things tied around my neck so I modified the neck line and made straps to criss-cross and button at the hip. Now I can put the pattern away and move on to working on my UFO's oh and the 2nd to last photo is the truer colors...... >^..^< Happiness is being a katmom and Glamping Diva! www.katmom4.blogspot.com & http://graciesvictorianrose.blogspot.com

I like the neck tie that you came up with. katmom	Posted - Feb 05 2017 : 11:13:59 PM I used 5" sq.... the pattern calls for bias tape for the edges but as I said, I am 'bias tape challenged'...lol! I also modified the neckline to be mors curved rather than square... I made the ties/straps buy sewing 9 sq together (for each tie-strap)...
