Posted - Sep 04 2016 : 11:23:46 AM I mentioned before I coerced two members of our chapter to take a Navajo weaving class. We had to make our own looms. Here's mine:
It was too big for me to weave on, so I replaced it with a lap loom:
That is not my project. I'll post that soon. Been busy fixing a craft room where I can do all my crazy stuff and weave. I find it so soothing....

I have arthritis in both shoulders. The loom needs to be lowered in order to keep weaving up. Can't find anything that works. The loom's lumber is very warped. It needs to be rebuilt with better wood, hardwood preferably. Can't get even tension with it as is.
