Posted - Jan 12 2007 : 9:45:18 PM My brother and SIL are expecting and I plan on making a bunch of these for them. Any idea how many I should do to start? And anyone have preferences of the 'insert' type ones or the regulars? They just found out today that it's a BOY! This is great because the have 2 girls already. That'll 4 of each for our immediate family!(I have 2 boys, 1 girl; my sis has 1 boy 1 girl and my bro has 2 girls and will have 1 boy) How neat!

Posted - Jan 12 2007 : 7:49:39 PM I made some similar diapers a couple of years ago for my grandson. I thought they were great but my DIL didnt use them that I know of. My daughter recently come across them when my son was moving and snagged them back. She said she wants to use them when she has babies because I made them. I thought that was really sweet.

Posted - Jan 11 2007 : 3:43:57 PM I did that recently, well, when Hurricane Katrina hit, I got involved with a local group that was sewing up diapers from t shirts and soakers from sweaters to send down to people in NOL and Missisippi, etc. It is so easy to do and even if you don't have babes at home you could always find people who might need dipes for their babes!
