I got this this afternoon at one of my local quilting shops. I saw it, loved it and bought it.
It is called the Ewesful Pincushion. It's this big hunk (bigger than it looks inthe photo) of multi colored felted wool...
I just cannot wait to stick all my pins and needles into it! I have been searching, mostly in vain, for the right pincushion since mine ripped and all the sawdust spilled out of it. now I have one!! and the loverly natural lanolin to keep my needles and pins nice! I am just going to go sit with my new pincushion and stare at it awile...

it's so soft and it feels like you cold just peel it apart and eat it like candy. I love it and I am looking at it whilst I am typing. It sits right beside my laptop right now...

Beautiful...like a bowl. It is so lovely to have a beautiful accessory to enjoy while doing handwork. What a lovely find.

That is a beautiful thing, Tasha. The colors are so restful and your photo is so clear I want to reach up and feel the texture of it.

That is the best pincushion I've ever seen! My aunt felted some wool around a small bar of soap for me for Christmas. It's like having a washcloth sewn around your soap! I love it too. Great find Tasha!!!
