I had such fun making necklaces from broken china and old watch heads... and now I have found a use for the watch workings...

the broken china piece is from a piece of my mothers beloved china...

I am saving the 'face' and 'works' to make necklaces with.

these pieces will also go into my shop.
Waste no parts... everything can be re-purposed...

Awww... I'm so sorry your mother went through all of that, Grace, and that you had to close your shop. What a blessing you are to her! You are amazing! I am very glad to hear that she is better now. 'So upsetting when our parents become ill!

As far as the doody scooping... The only thing I can say is: GOD BLESS YOU! I miss our Pawlee like crazy, but that is one thing I do NOT miss at all! LOL!

Hugs -

hey Nini,,
I forgot to post,,, I ended up closing my lil shop... My mother had some major health issues arise and trying to run my shop and commute (6hr each way) weekly to tend to her and her doctor appointments was/were just a bit daunting so I chose to close....
My mom is (finally) doing much better... and last month I took mom to Arizona to visit her brother.... and then hubby and I ended up with my mother-in-laws pup...

adjusting to a wee 19mo old dog,, and for the indoor kitties to get use to her has been interesting to say the least!
So now I just 'create' for fun and am honing my "scooping doggy doody' skills! lol!

BEE-YOU-TEE+FUL Gracie! They are wonderful!
I've used watch parts and pieces on the covers of some of the journals I have made. But I haven't tried jewelry . . . yet!

That is beautiful. One of the local artists makes jewelry out of watches and watch parts.
