Somehow the one and only presser foot for my Singer sewing machine is missing and i can't seem to locate one. It is about 8 years old and has the sort of snap on kind that just sort of snaps onto a little horizontal bar. Any ideas? I am sure i will find it as soon as i buy another one!

Singer and Brother has many interchangeable parts (the newer ones)... maybe you can go on-line?
Don't ya hate it when parts come up missing?..
How's the weather down there in S.L.O.?... it is dark and cloudy,,, might get rain up here.

Jenny enjoy your new machine, how nice. You do need a back up machine, for sure, if one needs to get a check up or needs to be repaired you need to keep busy otherwise you could get up to some trouble, like the fabric store!

Thanks denise! My husband got me a new Singer for mothers day i havent been searching anymore. Should though, still, just to have my now backup machine complete, right? Making curtains and hopefully a new apron this afternoon.

I have had good luck finding parts for my 23 year old Janome.
Good luck! So frustrating since its not that old of a machine. Also some of the singer/brother and janome machine have similar parts.
