Posted - Jan 02 2007 : 5:13:02 PM Hey, I am almost 52 in Feb. Lol. I love Strawberry Shortcake. Who says we are to old? My deceased grandmother died about 5 years ago. She was 93 and she still loved dolls.
I never had that many dolls or bears when I was a young. I remember like maybe 4 dolls and 1 big teddy bear. I love and collect Teddy bears too. I have a small collection of bears.
Thanks Pinkroses ( sheila

Here's a search I did in doll patterns of the Holly Hobbie patterns listed now: http://dolls.search-desc.ebay.com/holly-hobbie_Doll-Patterns_W0QQcatrefZC6QQcoactionZcompareQQcoentrypageZsearchQQcopagenumZ1QQfclZ1QQfgtpZQQfposZ28139QQfromZR2QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ2QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQftsZ2QQlopgZQQsacatZ18814QQsadisZ200QQsaprchiZQQsaprcloZQQsargnZQ2d1QQsaslcZ2QQsbrftogZ1QQsofocusZbs

The two categories you want to search in are doll patterns (dolls, then patterns)and collectibles (then vintage sewing, then patterns, the toys and animals)...

Posted - Jan 02 2007 : 4:48:38 PM Berrie, such a cute pattern. I never saw one like that growing up. I just had the paper dolls. Bonnie blessed me with stickers just recently. I still like her just the way she is, but I see there was an advertisement for the "new" Holly Hobbie. (sigh) Why can't they leave her the way she always was.

Posted - Jan 02 2007 : 4:44:30 PM Oh, I LOVED Holly Hobbie as a girl and I dressed my daughter in long dresses and pinafores with bonnets for years. Even when she was 7 or 8, she wore them and LIKED them. let me know if that is the right pattern. I might pick one up to make for a future grandchild some day.

Posted - Jan 01 2007 : 8:45:56 PM that's so cute. I too remember the older Holly Hobbie dolls, and in fact I have old buttons that have a side view of Holly Hobby in a mother of pearl look design inside of a golden brown buttons(the pearlized design is inside of golden brown buttons, really pretty), saved from a dress that my mom made for me back when I was about 6-7 yrs old..the buttons are 31 yrs old, but I never could get rid of them.(yikes, just told my age..ha)
