I have a lot of time off from work while my shoulder heals so I started making tassels with embroidery floss. I don't know how I'll use them---maybe I can go to Michael's sometime and get some jewelry making stuff. They're easy to make and I've seen them on earrings, necklaces, etc. any other ideas?

Or make them in school colors and make a graduation theme tassel ornament for a gift:

Depending on the size they could be cute earrings.

That's a good idea, Marie. I found a chain from Michaels' and stitched five of the tassels to it. Doesn't look bad. Now all I ned is a clasp. I wonder how they would look on a purse? I have some canvas bags just waiting to be embroidered, so maybe some tassels would look good on them.
