Posted - Dec 04 2006 : 07:14:20 AM Good idea Margie, and Thankyou Tasha for the OK on this idea. I'll bring a loaf of home baked bread to go with that covered dish. Of course I will have to find someone to bake it first, but not a problem. NANCY JO

Posted - Dec 03 2006 : 9:03:42 PM Hi Katie,
We did find that we had to staple them in the center to hold them better. So about 2 staples in the center should do the trick.
We used various colors of christmas prints scrapbook papers to make them.
Have fun. It gets addictive. ;0)

Posted - Dec 03 2006 : 09:21:34 AM Nancy Jo; I am right there with you on paper snow flakes.. Mine just turned out to be lots of little snippets all over the table, and nothing hooked together.......I tried all the web sites Tasha sent out, but evidently I am miss that brain cell that "makes paper snowflakes.......but I am going to keep on trying....just got three packages of white paper at Office supply store....Ho Ho and away we go.....

Posted - Dec 03 2006 : 08:38:42 AM Tina -- We (my sis and I) had a great time making those huge dimensional snowflakes at my kitchen table this morning! But...we have a question: After you join three parts together and staple, and then the other three parts are stapled, do you then staple in the center when joining the two sets of three together? It seems like we need something to hold the center together.
We've done two already, using 5" squares, and they are just lovely! We made them out of plain white paper, and may add some glittery dots here and there using glitter glue. The possibilities / variations are endless -- you really got our creative juices flowing -- Thanks! |

Posted - Dec 02 2006 : 8:59:29 PM Tasha! Those are just lovely - so is the artwork - and anatomically correct !!! My favorite snowflake site (from the Google list, of course!) is [www.papersnowflakes.com]. Talk about some great patterns...
XOXO, Libbie
