Has anyone made a Bandana Quilt?
I have 40+ bandanas,,, and thought it would be fun to make a quilt w/them...
But I have noticed a slight difference in weight &thickness as well as size,, no uniformity in Bandanas....
Some are older ones, USA made, and most are fairly new and made 'outside' of the USA...
I could applique them to a sheet for durability... or sew them together patchwork style...
Anyway, just thought I would pick your brains to see what how you made yours and what if any problems you ran into,,, or any tips...
Happy Monday

oh, did you use a thicker Loft batting or the thin 1/4" loft?
I was kind of thinking of using the thicker loft to give the bandana quilt a bit of a 'comforter' feel...

Sherone, Thank you so very much,,

so I will cut the itty bitty hem off all of them, and using the smallest sized bandana as my template,, size them all the same and just stitch up... Koolieo!
That is sew easy!

I have made them patchwork style...they work up nicely....take the smallest one and measure it...cut your other bandanas to those specs and away you go....thickness doesn't seem to matter as long as your backing is one thickness.
