Thanks Nini! Your words of encouragement are always so great! I do consider myself an artist, I just get bogged down sometimes with envy...and then my head clears and I remember that I am doing what I can while I can. I'm excited to be working more with art quilts now. I've found something in them that I never had with bed quilts. I'm looking forward to where I am going to be in the future.

Sarah! I love this post! You know, I have little artsy sketches strewn everywhere in my house - in unfinished projects, in craft boxes, in drawers, in notebooks... You just never know where you'll find my mark! LOL! And don't think you haven't arrived, sister! You ARE an artist! Art is what art is... And you are so talented! You don't need fancy products and tools and work areas to be an artist... Art comes from the soul and is manifested through our creative work in so many different fashions, mediums and outlets. You just keep on keepin' on. To me, you've always been an "artiste extraordinaire," and your works are from the heart, which makes them absolutely beautiful and priceless! Love and hugs - Nini
