Hi everyone,
I mentioned a few days ago that I had an art show today. Some asked to be updated. So, after a long nap, I'm here checking in!

Things went really smoothly, the crowd was good, not great but steady. This was a small show so I wasn't sure what to expect in sales. Sold a lot more than I thought I would! I made these silly primitive Christmas mice, which my hubby said were going to be a big hit. Sure enough, I sold out! I'm gonna let him tell me what to make from now on! ;)

I took some photos, but was rushed doing so. I will try to take a look at them in the next few days & see if I can get some online for you to see.

All in all it was very encouraging. People were very complimentary to my work. The dolls were the biggest hit. An older man called me an "artist", and a sweet grammy said I am "very clever". People seemed very suprised to learn I had actually made the things I had with me! They thought I was a bigger company. LOL I told them "Nope, just little ol' me!". I have one month to restock for a big show in a Chicago suburb. Looking forward to that one!

My web designer sent me rough copy of graphics tonight. Very exciting! Oops! Does this post belong in entrepreneurship?

What Chicago suburb are you going to? Just curious . . . in case it's near me.

Wonderful! My Richie always seems to have a good knack about things like that too. I often brush him off and have to go back later and listen while he says "told ya so!" Funny! Can't wait to see pics of your stuff!

Jewelry, art, baskets, etc.

Rhonda,
Good for you!! Hope that web designer of yours gets you up and running soon, I want to see what you are up to. What are you going to be taking to the Chicago show? What kind of dolls do you make? I think anyone who owns a Grandfather clock should have a mouse sitting on it someplace, how cute is that? you know, HICKORY DICKORY DOC?
