Posted - Aug 30 2014 : 1:31:54 PM MaryJane posted a 20% discount a few weeks ago when she introduced the new Sister Hoodie. They are made from organic cotton and have the softest fleece and feel to them. You also get to choose one of 4 badge designs to decorate your jacket with. The designs come on a transfer that is already colored, plus thread with a needle is included to attach it.
I decided to embroider the entire design for fun and embellished it with this Red Tractor button I have been saving ever since I found it. I love how it turned out!
Some of the great features of this hoodie are that the sleeves and the length of the torso are nice and long! I always have to worry that the sleeves will shrink or the body length is not really long enough to keep you all covered up. It is also a light weight fleece so you can wear it on cool days or layer a sweater underneath. I have washed it a few times in cold water and dried on low heat so now I am ready except for some cool weather to wear it in!! If you are looking for a new sweatshirt and want a garment that is nicely made and personalized by you, check out MaryJane's online store. There are four colors and four badges to choose from!!

Posted - Aug 31 2014 : 05:33:32 AM At the beginning of each new season I add one special piece to my wardrobe and spend a little more than I normally would for same thing. The Sister Hoodie will do nicely for the fall.
Winnie, just biding my time until that first northerner blows out of OK into my part of TX. When it does happen I will be wearing the hoodie. I just love to layer and it will be perfect for that.

Posted - Aug 31 2014 : 05:11:44 AM I am glad you found the information you needed to order your new Hoodie! The Bee design in very cute and I think a yellow rose button would be a perfect way to personalize it as well. Post us a photo when you get it all together!
Debbie, I think embroidering a few mountains in the background would be a great touch and way to personalize your hoodie!!
This is fun sharing ideas with each other. Now all Sara and I need is a bit of cool weather to pass by our homes......Hmmmmm, that might be awhile down here!
Thanks too, Sara, for the information that the 20% discount and free S&H still stands through today in case anyone reads this post and decides to purchase one.

Posted - Aug 30 2014 : 5:23:56 PM I have ordered mine and was very pleased when I found out I not only got the discount but also free S&H - it goes through the end of Aug.
I chose busy bee because it reminded me of my gardens. I will follow y'all's lead and personalize mine with a yellow rose button (if I can find one) or embroidered one.

Posted - Aug 30 2014 : 4:52:27 PM Thanks Winnie, I went back to the store and read a little more and found the size chart and how to measure. I now know size to order. Only have to make up my mind about badge - going back and forth between 2 of them.

Posted - Aug 30 2014 : 3:59:29 PM Sara, I would say order one size up if you need more around the middle. I ordered a medium and it fits me perfectly across the shoulders. Overall, it is a very generous hoodie. You might call the number 1-888-750-6004 and ask customer service about specific measurements of the sizes and then make a decision on what is best for you. You can also ask about their return policy if you need to adjust the size for a different one once you have it in hand.
Debbie, which color jacket and patch did you choose? You have to post a photo when you are done so we all can see!

Posted - Aug 30 2014 : 3:46:08 PM Winnie & Debbie, I checked the hoodie out and am interested in the charcoal gray. One question on size. For the size you ordered is it a snug or loose fit at shoulders & across middle? I got that 70 something roundness going on.
