Posted - Aug 17 2014 : 12:33:06 PM I was reading the paper and in "Ask Mr. Know-It-All" I came across an article asking why her Grandmother referred to a ball of yarn as a "clew". She thought her Grandmother had made that term up. Her answer was :No, your Grandmother did not make that up. "According to the dictionary, a clew is a ball of yarn, thread or cord." I love learning things like that!!!!! Marly
