I'm also looking for vintage buttons, especially from the 40s, etc. Love red buttons -- also that 'old' shade of green. If you're interested, let me know!!

Oh, and the buttons can be other colors as well. Not just red or green.

one word....WOW!!! I went to the post office today, wasn't really sure what I was getting (thought maybe a book from the book of the month club) But I got something MUCH better. I got your package. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!The bag is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! I din't realize that the flower is a pin . What a great idea. Oh, and the cookbook, I've heard of these gooseberry cookbooks, but have never seen one. Now I have my very own!!! HOORAY!! Thank you so very much. Just wondering, do you sell your bags, because I would love to buy one....or trading is good too...do you like Anne of Green Gables things? I live on Prince Edward Island, aka, Anne's land so I can get you anything to do with her...just some ideas....

Hey Nancy Jo!

I finally sent off your Christmas tags, to complete our swap. Sorry it took me so long! I had several small jobs pop up all of a sudden, and the crafting time went down to zero. Anyway, they are on the way. Hope you like them.

hi Kate
Well, I have jars and jars of buttons, how may, and what color would you like?

Alicia -- I sent your notecards yesterday -- you should receive early next week.

Nancy -- I have a FEW tags done, but I'll be doing some more tonight and hope to get your package in the mail tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!!

And thanks again for the buttons. I put out pretty glass dishes filled with the red and green buttons on my kitchen table; it makes me smile.

Alicia -- I'd be interested! If you want to take a picture, great. But I'd be willing to trade sight unseen. I'm into making notecards right now -- kind of like patchwork using paper, using a teacup applique design. Would you want to trade for that? I'll email you.

Nancy -- great if you have some! I'd love to send you something in exchange. I'll email you my address again.

Thanks, FarmGirl Friends!

I have some old green buttons. I am not sure how old they are but I got them from a neighbor. They were his wife's and he was in his 80's. She collected quite a few green ones. I can take a picture so you can see the green ones. I have no idea what you would want to trade for them. Let me know if you are interested and I can take the picture.
