I luv those cheesy plastic Flamingos,,, from little ones, to large ones... they are the perfect lawn ornament as well as vtg. trailer sccessory!
Well I have a couple that are faded out so... I Channeled my inner 'Carol Duval' aka Queen of Crafts from years ago on the HGTV channel... she did a segment on decorating Flamingos...
Well I channeled my inner Carol,,, and my brain went into light bulb mode! lol!
This is what I came up with...!
Easy peasy project... all you need is plastic Flamingo(s) (I have seen small ones at the $1 stores),
'Tacky" type glue (I used Arlene's Tacky Glue in the gold bottle)
a 4oz container of glitter - color of your choice...I found 6oz containers at the $1 store.
sponge type craft applicator.
a comfy lawn chair,.
some Dean Martin music (or what ever your choice) in the background.
A tall glass of Iced Tea... steer clear of alcoholic beverages... or you may end up with more glitter on you then your Flamingo! lol!
Yep, Every Trailer Diva needs some 'Blingy Mingies...!

oh they doooo sparkle!
It was hard trying to get a good photo this morning... and there is glitter everywhere on the patio! lol!
There is a company, "Oriental Trading CO., that sells them in different sizes,,, and I have seen them at several $1 stores both here in Calif., and WA.
Also I have found them (in the past) at KMart as well as the TJ Maxx (Ross/Marshalls) store....

Oh My!!!! I love those!!!! Leave it to you to add bling to a flamingo!!!!!!! Now I will be on the lookout for flamingos, I do not like the pink ones, will have to bling them up too, if I can find some around here. Bet they just sparkle in your yard!!!
