What ever you choose to call them, coasters, Mug rugs, Cup Caddies... I think they are sweet...
I have seen all kinds of cute versions on the internet and in cute shopps... so I finally sat down and created my version...
I posted pictures on my blog,,, but here is the general gest of what I stitched up.
 
I used bits of scrap fabric, and I used wool felt for in between the top and bottom layer of fabric... The little cross stitched flowers are from a salvaged damaged linen... and I used my embroidery machine to stitch on the recipiants name...
So or should I say, sew easy...
Now to go make one for me... oh and one for my mommy...

Shannon, they are super easy to stitch together... and you can hand stitch the name, or just forgo the name and stitch in another sweet piece of fabric.

Lovely! Alicia (DandeeRose) makes these as well. I am blessed to have one :) Maybe one day I too will learn how to make these :)
