Hello, there!

I make pet toys for my pets, as well as for my shop. I've got a few new toys coming to the shop, soon. All of these are crocheted, but I have a question.

I would like some of the toys to be crinkly -- as in if a cat kicks it, it makes a sound similar to that of a plastic Wal*Mart bag, only more... crinkly / crackly... If these toys were for my pets, I probably would use clean Wal*Mart sacks to stuff the toys, but I imagine customers might be a little skeptical, even though my shop is upcycle-friendly.

What can I use to stuff these toys? I am planning on getting small bells / rattles, and later, I will sew catnip into them. Just waiting on our catnip plants to grow more.

Try the above link for an etsy store that sells it!

My sister had a toy for one of her dogs that had an empty plastic water bottle inside. It was pretty crinkly, but would probably be too much for a cat.
