Posted - Apr 05 2014 : 5:51:52 PM I've never made seed paper, but I think I am going to try making some seed "tape" this year with strips of newspaper. Supposed to make planting things like lettuce and carrots much easier. I wonder about stuff like this though... if you get the seeds wet in the process, doesn't that start the germination? Or does it dry out quick enough that it doesn't ruin/rot the seeds?

Posted - Mar 31 2014 : 2:51:18 PM Margo, I tried this once a few years ago, since I love making paper. I planted the paper, but nothing did come up. I know you can buy seed paper, so it must work for someone. Give it a try and let us know how it works out for you.
