SusieQ,

Did you ever find a spinning wheel? If not let me know, I am in Ohio and would need to ship it to you.

Lissa thanks what a great idea. I live near Dallas and they have a big group.

i spin :-)

if you're looking for a cast off, or inexpensive used wheel, or perhaps one you can borrow, look for a local weaver's guild. many have borrowable or rent-able equipment. often they have classes and/or study groups. and they are a great place to connect with people who want to sell or re-home equipment.

I do spin, I do not have an available spinning wheel. There are quite a number of MJF Sisterhood spinners, I've seen several posts on various topics, here and in the barnyard buddies topic, and also on the barters topic.

You will love spinning, it is so relaxing! Have you checked out the spinning topics on Ravelry?

I just took a class on beginning spinning. It was a great class. I am wondering does anyone have a spinning wheel that works that they do not need anymore?
