I have never made an entire quilt from templates before. I guess it's good to learn new things.

Sarah, start with a round knitting loom. It is easier to learn with. You can knit in the round and make a scarf or neck cowl.

Heather, I cannot knit or crochet, so you have a leg up on me! I got one of those sock looms for Christmas two years ago, and alas, it is still sitting in my craft room in the original packaging. <sigh> I had visions of making my own dishcloths and socks for my kids, but I guess we'll see.

I can't wait to see it either. I sew but I've not attempted a quilt yet. One day though. Right now I'm learning to knit. I've made 3 dishcloths so far. None of them are correct yet - LOL! I'm getting there though. The 4th one is in progress - we'll see how it turns out. Guess what everyone's getting for Christmas this year :o) Maybe next year I'll be making some wall hangings like you. It sure looks like it'll be great!
