For you quilting/fabric/history enthusists... there is a wonderful article in the Aug issue of 'American Patchwork & Quilting' magazine.
on page 26. It tells about the garment industry and how they would sell bags of scrap fabric from cuttings to be used for quilts.
Great article by Edie McGinnis (A Bag of Scraps).

There are some cleaver ideas for organizing ones sewing/craft room as well. Something I really need to do!

Also, an idea for using those old 'train cases' as a 'Stow-n-Tote' case... like the ones CeeJay has pics of... Ceejay takes it one step further and decorates her 'Stow-n-Go' re-purposed train cases... and they are sooo cute!
