Posted - Apr 29 2013 : 08:06:04 AMCan anyone give me a recommendation of good wool yarn (worsted weight thickness preferred) for crocheting shawls? Not too pricy, but good quality? Online or in stores is okay. Thanks.
Posted - May 12 2013 : 10:10:50 AMelann.com always has their highland wool at a reasonable price and knitpicks.com has several nice all wool worsteds at good prices.

Also, it's nice to support your local yarn shop to see what they have on sale. At this time of year, a lot of shops are getting rid of winter-stock worsted weight wools for 50% or more off.

You can also search Etsy by just adding the words "wool yarn sale"
