My friend is in a purple heart group because her husband received a purple heart. She has been requested to make 20 twin size quilts by the end of the year for a women's Assisted living home for women for women veterans. If anyone has any Red, White or blue or pretty lady fabric ( since we are going to make both kinds) that they would like to re-direct, hehehehe, donate to this project, please email me for my home address . We would so appreciate any donations so we can do this very inexpensively. Thank you to anyone that would like to donate..

julie and Grace, received your fabric, Wow Thank you to both of you for this fabric it will go to very good use. We worked on 2 different tops and got them done the other day. My friend now has 4 or 5 ready to be tied and then these 2 and I have one done I worked on at home and I am going again on friday to work on some more. We are bound and determined to get them all done. we are also going to send small zipper bags that I am making and going to put girly stuff in there for all the ladies. So we are moving ahead very nicely and this fabric is appreciated and will be used. hopefully I will get some pics up soon!! once again Thank you to all of you!!!!

Beverly, I found a few pieces of material with the flag printed on it. Also, material with music notes, etc... A few pieces of a small blue print, and a dark pink small print. Let me know if that would be okay.

Wow thank you so much to all of you. It is just 3 of us going to get these done so we are working a lot. We can take pieces that is just find. My friend has one of those cutters with dies to cut the pieces and boy does that help us out so much. So my one friend who does not sew helps us cut. It is a big help. so pieces are just fine...thanks again...
