In trying to think of ways to use up scraps of yarn, I discovered you can single crochet around a 3" (32 weight) rubber band for super hold when putting your hair back - they do not pull your hair when removing them! Also if you do not have hair to pull back you can use the colorful bands anywhere you might use a rubber band, such as around your address book, coupon book, etc. I wish I had thought of this in the 60s when my girls were growing up and using rubber bands for their pigtails! Would have saved alot of tears! Sue
