Posted - Apr 11 2013 : 09:03:22 AM I am looking for toys of some sort, that I can make (possibly crochet them), to sell at the Farmer's Market in June.
Do any of you have a crochet pattern for toy food or blocks? I would love to make up bags or baskets of fake food for kids, or something else.
I would love to hear lots of ideas. It's a "kids" day at the market in June, and my other option is to make lollipops and sell those too.

Posted - Apr 13 2013 : 07:07:21 AM Kristina, I made a bunch of rice bags in various shapes and colors (easy sewing project). It doubles as a learning tool as well as tossing them into a bucket for coordination.

Posted - Apr 11 2013 : 4:05:41 PM Princess had really good luck at a craft fair with a baby sea turtle pattern she found in an amigurumi book. You might try to find some of these books at your local library.
Also, when she crochets her little doodads, sometimes, she just wings it.
Hope this is helpful for you - if for no other reason than encouragement.
