I made bias tape for the first time! I got one of those handy little devices from Joanns and it worked great! However, I have the 1/2" and I would like to have the 1" because the tape turned out small. But I'm happy -- something I've been wanting to try for a long time.

liz -- it's the coolest little thing! You cut 1" strips on the bias, feed through the folder, and then pull it along as you iron. It folds for you and you just press. Worked great but I need one that makes wider tape.

I didn't know that there was a device to make bias tape, I'll have to look that one up. Glad it turned out well for you :) |
