I recently collected my grandma's crocheted table cloths. They have been stored for about 50 years in a box, but seem to be in very good condition. No holes, or anything like that, but some edges have turned a mustardly gold. They were starched (sugar?) but are somewhat soft.
I would like to use them, but not interested in blocking them unless I have to (I remember my Mom had some kind of stretcher in the attic). I don't mind if they are soft. Does anyone know the best way to clean them? Any suggestions? It's time they are used!
