Hi everyone, I'm working towards my Sewing Merit Badge and I noticed that a couple of the steps refer to MaryJane's Ideabook. Namely the Potluck carrier, for which I have bought a pdf pattern from Etsy, and the potholders which are to be embroidered.

I can't afford to buy the book as it costs nearly £50 ($79) in the UK on Ebay and Amazon. I am wondering if anyone can give me some clues/ photos as to what the designs should be please. Or would it be all right to just pick an embroidery design of my own?

Thank you for your help.

There are many paths.
