I have an elderly frien who is looking for iron on transfers for tea towels..pillow cases..etc..she cannot find hers and fear they were throw away..can you girls help me find some? If so let me know and I would trade somthing if I can come up with something you may like. Thanks so much. Nana Shirl

Aunt Martha is sold pretty much every where-hobby lobby, hancock's, walmart are a few more places they are sold. And directly from them!

Patternbee.com mainly sells ones that are no longer being printed, and are quite a bit more in price-however worth it because you can't find them any where else. OTOH they are much harder to get to transfer-I think it's the heavy paper. Aunt Marthas are much easier to transfer and you get a few more uses out of them then the patternbee ones. But, I use use a transfer pencil on to tracing paper for the pattern bee ones and that helps quite a bit.

Shirley, check out Woolworth/Ben Franklin/Sprouse Ritz 5&Dime type stores.... for those sweet "Aunt Martha" iron on stitchery patterns...
Also, check on line to see if Mary Maxim or Herrschners is still around... they are catalog stitchery companies.... hopefully they are still around...

Linda, thank you so much..I am sure my lil friend would appreciate it very much! your lil aunt is one busy lil woman!! What a blessing you are to her!! My lil friend is a very good artist and she is 87! She has given me a few lessons..She has arthritis is her hands and it is amazing that she can so some of the things she does...I hope you get to feeling better..my hubby and I had that darn stuff over Christmas..thank you for replying and taking time to look for me..Blessings...Shirl

Shirley, send me your address. I believe that I have some, and will look tomorrow, tonight, I have been sick (gross) sorry don't mean to gross you out, but, I have had the crud, and tonight, I stomach just could;t take it. You had me at elderly lady, I take care of my hubbys aunt, and she is about 40% dependent on me. She has no one left in her family. I love her and she embroideries every day. I have to work hard to keep her in things to do. She by the way is very good at it. Things are beautiful, for this past christmas, she made all the ladies a set of placemats and a tablecloth with napkins. They were each done according to the colors of each one kitchen or dining room. She is doing 2 baby blankets now. And she has dish towels lined up to do next for all of us for next Christmas. She does pillow cases, which i sell for her in a little shop. She makes her money to purchase more stuff. Well, I have shared enough. I will go in craft room tomorrow and take a look.
