I'm really excited about making these. Thinking I'm going to use the salt, because I like the bigger chunkier look, but why not make both types!? Thanks again for posting this, Teri. I plan on making them with my little one and my mom. A nice "girls" day!

Bonnie,
I used the glitter first ... and then the epsom salt. The only difference is the salt pieces are a bit bigger. So pending the look you want, I also was using them for packaging my soaps. And was not sure if the salt would shed in shipping ... Does that help?

What a great idea. You really made nice looking ones. Did you use the epsom salts?

I'm glad someone asked for the link to the tutorial! I couldn't find it, either and was starting to think "I missed out!" They really are cute and I think that Violet and I can make them together!

Hi Anita,
Glad you liked them ... I love those easy, fast and cheap ... errrr... inexpensive crafts!
Ladies, I have to apologize to you all ... I am NOT very good at sharing what is on my blog. I'm just so use to everyone coming from Pinterest! I sometimes forget that there may be people here on MJF who might be interested. Sorry! I'll try to get better ...

Those candy canes would make a cute ornament for the Christmas tree.
