I recently lost my sewing table because my mom's cat marked all over it (and everything that was on it!) and we couldn't get rid of the smell on the table. So I had set up an old rickety card table to do my sewing on but it was kind of useless since the table would shake so much when the sewing machine was running. Well, about an hour ago, hubby and my dad walked in the house lugging this HUGE and REALLY HEAVY desk/workbench/table that had been in the garage that no one was using. It was a real task to get it in the house, because anything that comes in the basement (where my sewing space is) has to be pretty much taken apart to get down the stairs (because of all the tight corners). But now I have a new sewing table and I am SOOOOO ready to be sewing. Gotta go...my sewing table waits!

Yep, I'm blessed. I've been sitting at it a good chunk of last night and tonight and I think its a table of inspiration. I figured out what to make with a chunk of stuff I had sewn together that didn't work for its original purpose. How awesome is that? YAY!!
