My hometown has made the plastic bag ban official. So I got to looking at my huge stack of feed bags that I can't bring myself to throw out (and we don't have recycling for this kind of thing yet) so I made some shopping totes. They turned out pretty cute, if I don't say so myself!The grocery checkers love them.

That is really cute and colorful! I did use some empty feed bags as weed barrier around some small trees last year. I topped the bags (open and split) with gravel. I am so glad that I did because it has acted as a heavy mulch in this drought.

VERY cute! Our feed bags are paper though...if I get to bags that are more plasticy like that, I'll definitely make those. CUTE idea!!!!
