Mine is cross stitching right now. I pick it up and hours just seem to go by and then I get the "Mom, are we eating dinner tonight? It is 8:00". Oops, I sat down at 4:00 to stitch for an hour. Maybe I need a timer?

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

I about fell out of my chair laughing reading these.... Thought I was the only one, so nice to know I'm not. Here I have 1 quilt in the loop (hand quilting), three tops ready to sandwich. One in the cutting stage, a bag for shopping on the table to cut out. A new cover for my Nook laid out (but not cut out yet). A girly girl tool belt to start, not to mention a couple of jackets ready to go.... and what do you think I am doing (besides reading MaryJane???????

You guessed it... knitting socks!!!! It seems like I always have a pair on the needles, but lately I have be really going at it. Maybe because they are easy to transport, maybe because I am working again (part time) or maybe I'm just in love with socks, but I really really need to get back to the other projects soon!!

Thanks for sharing

Hugs

Theresa

Even though it's nearly 100 degrees here today (and very humid too), I'm totally in the mood to crochet! I have 4 quilts waiting to be started, a bunch of Little Dresses for Haiti to finish (and little boy shorts to go with them), a reproduction dress project, oh yeah and cleaning my house, but my hands just want to be working with my hooks. Don't know what it is. And isn't it strange that I'm more in the mood to crochet when it's hot than in the winter when it's cold, and making an afghan or two would be so much more practical LOL!

I have done so many crafts and still do but I love the portability of knitting and getting a project done just makes me happy.

I have started to crochet again, here. I had a lot of craft material in The Netherlands but couldn't take anything with me. Bought yarn here and started again. Also bought paint again to make nice things. I paint, crochet, knit (sometimes) used to embroider a lot, do some scrapbooking with aper and fabric and lot's more lol. My hands are always doing something crafty *__*
