Posted - Sep 05 2006 : 04:30:11 AM The body of the apron is red/cream ticking and the yoke, straps and pockets are from matching different sized gingham...all homespun fabric. It was for a customer...I hope she is pleased!

Posted - Sep 06 2006 : 04:49:52 AM Susan- Love it! What a cool apron! I can see it over and old style "Prarie dress" calling the kids in to supper and the cows home to milk! I bet you can gather a bunch of eggs in those pockets! Will have to visit your site again to see what new and wonderful goodies you have! I might just have a little shopping spree!

Posted - Sep 06 2006 : 04:36:45 AM Susan - you have a real winner there. I love everything about the apron, the roominess and the fabric and your choice of putting it all together. The big pockets. I bet you can sell a lot of these, and keep that pattern exclusive! It may become your signature apron!
I know I want one! Just like that one! :) Will go to your website.

Posted - Sep 05 2006 : 3:04:23 PM It really is fantastic. I wish I was good enough at sewing to make my own patterns... or even understand store bought patterns!

Posted - Sep 05 2006 : 06:05:38 AM I made the pattern. I bought one similar to it years ago - it finally wore out, couldnt find where I had bought it, plus there were things I wanted to change about the old one, so I had to make a pattern...I LOVE the coverage. I just eyeballed and measured the pieces from the old worn out apron...and tweaked it. I just have a newspaper pattern.
