The body of the apron is red/cream ticking and the yoke, straps and pockets are from matching different sized gingham...all homespun fabric. It was for a customer...I hope she is pleased!

Susan- Love it! What a cool apron! I can see it over and old style
"Prarie dress" calling the kids in to supper and the cows home to milk! I bet you can gather a bunch of eggs in those pockets! Will have to visit your site again to see what new and wonderful goodies you have! I might just have a little shopping spree!

with a happy heart

Susan - you have a real winner there. I love everything about the apron, the roominess and the fabric and your choice of putting it all together. The big pockets. I bet you can sell a lot of these, and keep that pattern exclusive! It may become your signature apron!

I know I want one! Just like that one! :) Will go to your website.

Peace

Wow Susan - I love it!! I think red gingham is great - a classic that never goes out of style!
Best wishes,

It really is fantastic. I wish I was good enough at sewing to make my own patterns... or even understand store bought patterns!

This is a fantastic apron! Are you going to make more for your web store? Does it tie at the sides?

I made the pattern. I bought one similar to it years ago - it finally wore out, couldnt find where I had bought it, plus there were things I wanted to change about the old one, so I had to make a pattern...I LOVE the coverage. I just eyeballed and measured the pieces from the old worn out apron...and tweaked it. I just have a newspaper pattern.

Cute, Susan! Who wouldn't love it? That is a cook-up-a-storm apron if I ever saw one!
