I completely forgot to post some photos of this little thistle handbag I made for one of our Farmgirls back at the end of January. So here it is! The fabric on the flap is a sheer black fabric sandwiched on top of a cotton print, so I could get more of a contrast with my embroidery design.

Yeah, Paula, I figured that's what you were up to . . . I waited! I just couldn't wait any longer to brag on it!
And, "Calicogirl" . . Sharon . . lives here and she HAS seen it, so she knows!
Thanks again!

I was wondering if anyone would try to guess who it went to, based on the design motif.

Thank you! I'm still learning that whole photography thing. I find it more challenging than the stitching and sewing part of making the handbags.
Marianne, I have a Brother embroidery machine. It just does embroidery, and I use my sturdy old Kenmore for all of my sewing.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
