Emory Grace was born 1/11/12 and MeeMaw will be sewing for along time I have made 1 diaper hanger, 3 sleep sacks with a zipper at the bottom, 1 infat seat canopy, 2 nursing aprons, 3 crochet hats with matching booties, crocheted one kitty buddy blanket, and put together over 200 baby granny squares (my mom made these years ago, before my son finally married) into a crib sized quilt, all before she got here. I have the fabric on hand to make 1 baby coocon, 1 dozen large bibs, 2 toddler dresses (Papa Vic picked out the patterns and material). When I found out Emory was coming, I located all of my baby/childern patterns, on my gosh, I still have the two maternity dress patterns from the 70s that I bought for me. I jjust can't bear to throw a pattern away and I am so glad I saved all of mine.

I made a counted cross-stitch bib for a fellow farm sister last week. I don't get to make baby items very often.

Those are awesome every one. However, I don't agree that boppys are the best nursing pillows they always move and the baby gets stuck in the crack. I like the my brest friend pillows better, they stay in place and the baby doesn't roll into a crack. And I fit in ALL chairs with one. The boppy only fits in certain chairs. They are nice though to sit the baby up in and for "tummy time".

That being said, what I am making-

I just finished a nursing coat/baby wearing coat. It has nursing openings that zip open and shut, and also has a zip in pannel for when I am wearing baby, if I am not wearing baby, then I don't have to have the panel in it.

I've made about 6 nursing turtle necks and about to make 3 more tonight.

Tonight I'm about to start making some baby legs too. I should be able to get a whole lot of them done. I am hoping to get about 20 done but who knows. Shouldn't take me long though. I bought a ton of socks tonight though to make them. I hit up Target and Walmart. So I have a ton of materials for baby legs, for both my son and daughter.

I don't get to make baby stuff too often, still waiting for grandbabies LOL!
This is a hat and boots that I made recently for a friends baby shower.
I love making little baby stuff.

Don't go with the flow...you are the flow.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I make a bobby for all of my friends and I also sell them on Etsy here http://www.etsy.com/listing/74495724/the-best-nursing-pillow-peach-with
I also started in nursing hospital gowns here http://www.etsy.com/listing/73684588/teal-blue-maternity-hospital-dress-size

I am having the darnest time trying to crochet baby items, I am wondering at this point if it is due to cheap yarn

Lordy Kathryn - you have been busy.
I haven't made anything but I've got 2 babies in the family coming and one of a friend on the way - just bought a new knitting book specifically for baby items.
