Posted - Jan 04 2012 : 01:18:43 AMHi Amy,
In order to get parts you need, do you know the model #? Do you have a manual? (maybe it's a treadle?)
Considering it's age, it might be a treadle. What is the serial #? The serial # (on the right side of the machine), will tell us the model # once we look it up. I fix old singers all the time and I have a few great suppliers. The following links are the only suppliers I use. If you need help identifying your machine let me know, and I'll help you find out what parts you need.
Do you have a picture you can show us?
I just did my sisters treadle. I fix and sell old singers all the time.
