I want to make a tie for my husband out of some beautiful Liberty of London fabric that we both love. If you know Liberty cottons, you know they are very fine and need to be lined. The only tie patterns I have or know of are for heavier fabrics and aren't suitable. Does anyone have experience with a pattern I could purchase, or maybe have one to sell or trade? Thanks!

Kim, that looks perfect! They even mention Liberty fabric. Seems a nice site in general, too, so I've bookmarked it for more reasons than one.

Meantime, I also found this site, which some might find helpful, even though it has a nasty name:

Thanks again, Kim :)

Try this. I haven't made it yet but I am planning on trying to make some for Christmas.
