Posted - Sep 10 2011 : 03:22:22 AM I'm in Pullman, WA (right beside MaryJane's Moscow!) and I'm looking for someone who can teach me how to sew clothing. I've cobbled together pillows, drapes and simple skirts, but just can't seem to self-learn how to follow a pattern. I LOVE 40's fashions, but can't afford to buy them pre-made, so I would love to learn how to sew some for myself. Anyone local-ish up for a lesson once in a while?

Posted - Sep 10 2011 : 04:07:50 AM I would call needle nook fabrics in Wichita, Kansas. I believe she has some friends in WA, I'm not sure where though. but, I would trust anne the owner of needle nook. I know for sure she said she has a friend she would trust to teach sewing in WA, I just am not sure which city. Anne teaches a lot of classes as well and travels all over the USA teaching, if you call her she may be able to tell you when she will be up in WA next teaching as well.
