Imagine my surprise and delight to open my new Country Living magazine and discover:

Palouse Patchers Quilt Show
When: April 16-17
Place: Latah County Fairgrounds, Moscow, Idaho
25th annual quilt show, 200 quilts will be displayed themed around the journeys of Lewis and Clark. Quilt rafffle, vendors, judging....

Any of you locals entered or planning to attend? I'll be with you in spirit! If it hadn't been for Mary Jane's Farm I wouldn't have paid any attention to that notice because it's on the otherside of the country but now "Palouse" is what caught my attention!

with a happy heart

The quilt show at the Waterford was incredible. I bought a couple more quilt kits and my teacher gave me one that I had been eyes titled "barn dance" with cowboy boots on it; each of them are wall hangings.

I'm close enough to attend! This will be great. I'm a beginner quilter and love to see the history, different patterns and the use of colors. Tomorrow, March 24 & 25, the Waterford on South Hill where I work is having a quilt show also. I've been admiring the quilts as they hang them and they are incredible!

Hope to see some of you at the Palouse Quilt Show. Which County Living magazine is it in?

Bless,
Suzy

Ugh, my parents used to live in a part of Indiana where they were affected heavily by the lake effect. Those were the good old days though, SNOW DAYS and no school!

Kim,
Near Bayfield, in the lake affect zone. The temps have been quite erratic and it seems to get warm one day and snow the next.

Wouldn't I love to go to that show! It is happening the same weekend as we will be taking our daughter, son in law and grandson back to the airport for their trip back to snowwy wisconsin. They have 10 feet at their house. Maybe next year I will be able to go see it.
